Why Doodlemate? - Initially we took over 2 abandoned kittens who had been residing at a service station (gas station for our American friends!). The names of 2 Stroke and Diesel seemed appropriate and the names have since stuck!
For us a date record was needed for their progress (including the naughty things that they have got up to). The record needed to incorporate text, images, video and sound. Nothing in the way of software seemed to exist that would provide what we needed so Doodle Mate was born.
Doodle Mate was developed over a period of 7months and launched in October 2008. Extra functions were added such as the mp3 player, data storage. However Doodlemate had to have an easy to use search function so that important events in our lives could be recalled easily and displayed in a useful form.
Our lives now revolve around daily input to Doodle Mate of highlights and sad bits. The progress of the world economic situation has been interesting to record as well.
Since the launch of Doodlemate it has been really fantastic to have contact with people around the world. Thanks for the feed back and friendship.
